This is yet another blog nobody will read. No matter. It's mostly a personal endeavor anyway. I've decided that I will sporadically go through the writing prompts on this website when I'm bored, or want to write but don't know what to write, or if I'm feeling creative and want to kill some time.
You're welcome to read, but first I'd like to ask you all to follow a couple guidelines.
Constructive criticism only. Don't come in here to tell me how much my writing sucks. I know this. I'm not a writer by nature. I'm a visual artist. However, I do like to write from time to time. If you can't give me productive advice, keep your mouth shut.
On that same note, DON'T FEED THE TROLLS. If someone's acting like a dick, don't egg them on. Ignore them. A troll's only goal is to get people to hate on them in comments and such. If you ignore them, they'll go away.
That's pretty much all I can think of right now. I'll go ahead and start right in with the first writing prompt on the site. I'm not going to lie, I think this first one is stupid
"Close your eyes briefly. Think of one object that's in the room and focus on it. Without opening your eyes, recall as much detail as you can about it. After 3 minutes or so, open your eyes and write about that object without looking at it."
It's got some spherical and round elements to it. It's shiny and colorful. It can be used to beautify other things, far more than it's intended use if need be. They come in all sorts of colors, and finishes. And in all sorts of bottles. It's cheap. Sometimes you get what you pay for, and sometimes you get a good value. I've got what seems like hundreds of them scattered throughout my living space. They're one of the few tools I have for when I'm feeling particularly girly. Their use is not just limited to girls, though. Some adventurous men have been known to experiment from time to time.
Okay. That's enough. It was a fucking bottle of nail polish. Why is this even on the writing prompt site? I'm really not good at that shit. Expect a better one in the next entry. Honestly. XD
